Hook Hall Presents Yappy Hour

It's time to pawty at Hook Hall as the Parkview bar and event space joins with District Dogs and the 11th and Bark organization to present a canine-o-rama themed Yappy Hour. Prizes will be awarded to best dressed pups. The Hook Hall Hounds menu of peanut butter treats, Doggie Beer, Pup-achininos and Woof Woof Ice Cream will be offered along with adult libations. Local pet accessory company Kamaji Co. will be there with dog fashions. The nonprofit organization 11th and Bark will be collecting signatures for its formal application to make the Columbia Heights Dog Park an official city dog park, bringing much-needed improvements to this community space. The park, at 11th Street and Park Road NW is valued by dog lovers for bringing people together and for providing a space for their dogs to run and play.
