Introduction to Wine Basics – Online

This introductory class is designed for those wanting to develop a good foundation of wine knowledge and an understanding of how to taste wine. You will learn about the main styles of wine, the most important wine grapes, key wine producing countries and regions, how grapes are grown and wine is produced, how to taste wine like a pro, what to look for and why, matching food and wine, serving, storing, and buying wine, and the best way to buy wine in retail stores and restaurants. This class will be taught on Cisco WebEx or Zoom, with wine samples available for curbside pickup by appointment on Thursday, April 28th between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m. $85 per person. April 29th, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For more information, please click here.
