Usher in Korean New Year with Anju. Seollal, otherwise known as Korean New Year, is one of the most important holidays in Korean culture. It marks the first day of their Lunar calendar, but unlike the Chinese new year, this celebration only lasts three days: the day before Korean New Year, Korean New Year itself, and the day after Korean New Year. During this time, it’s a tradition for families to eat together, play games, and pay respect to their elders. Food plays an integral role during this holiday, which is why Anju is celebrating with a special in-house 4-course tasting menu, complete with a Banchan spread. The menu includes: the choice of Scallop Jeon or Lobster Mushroom Jeon; the choice of Kkori Gomtang or Yachae Hotteok; the choice of Ox & Dduk or Beoseot Soon Doobu; and the choice of Yuja Hwachae or Yakwa Sundae. In addition to the aforementioned prix-fixe, the regular a la carte dinner menu will be available, and they'll be offering one of their Lunar New Year dishes as a special for takeout and delivery each night. This meal is $65 per person. To order and for more information please click here.
