On Founder's Day, Catoctin Creek is releasing their ever-popular Rabble Rouser Bottled-in-Bond Rye Whiskey. Distilled from 100% rye and bottled in bond, the Rabble ROuser differs from its cousin, Roundstone Rye, in that it is distilled at a lower proof, allowing lots of earthy goodness from the grain to come through the spirit. The whiskey is aged for four years, making it among the oldest craft whiskey in the United States presently, and twice the legal age requirement for "straight rye whiskey." Suggested retail price is $99 per bottle (50% ABV, 750 ml). As will all releases, this on is releasing in Virginia through the online store. The product will appear at 8:00 a.m. sharp, where you will be able to order it for pickup or delivery in Virginia.
