Mid Autumn Night Market Presented By Tiger Fork & Hi Lawn
1309 5th St. NE
Cantonese restaurant Tiger Fork and its sister bar Hi-Lawn are set to host their 3rd Annual Mid-Autumn Night Market on October 1–2, transforming the expansive rooftop atop Union Market and the Dock5 event space into a bustling Hong Kong–style celebration. The two-day festival will feature illuminated lanterns, guest chef food stalls, local artisan pop-ups, cultural performances, late-night DJs, and dedicated baijiu and sake bars, along with the traditional treat of mooncakes. Drawing more than 4,000 attendees in past years, this semiannual collaboration is one of D.C.’s most anticipated events. Recognized as the second most important holiday in China after Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family reunions, moon worship, and shared meals, and Tiger Fork and Hi-Lawn are bringing together over a dozen local restaurants and vendors to celebrate under the moonlight on one of the city’s largest rooftops.
