Music on the Lawn at the National Building Museum

Sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the production A Midsummer Night's Dream at Music on the Lawn. Performances include longtime DC Latin band (Sol y Rumba) founded by Maria Isolina on June 28th; hip-hop artist Malik Work as they debut an original spoken word piece, That Purple Juice, inspirired by Shakespeare's Midsummer on August 4th; Justin Trawick and his four-piece folk/bluegrass ensemble, The Common Good, on August 11th; and Kristen "Drum Lady" Arant's intergenerational all-women drumming ensemble, Bele Bele Rhythm Collective. Entry is free and performances will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
