NSO Performance At Money Muscle BBQ

On Thursday, September 16th, the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) will perform an outdoor chamber performance at Silver Spring’s Money Muscle BBQ. The performance will feature Aaron Goldman on the flute and Sue Heineman on the bassoon. The performance is part of the In Your Neighborhood 2021 program, running September 3rd through 22nd, where the NSO will partner with local artists and venues to perform live, free shows in an effort to better the lives of community members through music. Neighbors will gather to connect, unwind, and celebrate together in local neighborhoods across DC and Montgomery County. To enjoy the show with some great food drink, you can pre-order an “NSO BBQ Box” beginning Friday, September 10th. The BBQ box ($15) will include various sandwich options, a side, drink and a house-made chocolate chip cookie. Preorders are limited and include a reserved seat along with the boxed meal. The popular BBQ food truck will also be open during the performance with a full menu including craft beers, hard seltzers, and $8 happy hour cocktails in to-go pouches.
