At Tiki TNT, Todd Thrasher’s runaway hit of the DC Wharf, the breeze always blows tropical. Get ready as it blows with a distinct island flair, as Filipino native born chef, Paolo Dungca, returns as the resident guest chef for the final Filipino Pop-Up Coursed Dinner, also making a cameo TV appearance. Dungca's participation as a contestant in the Capital Food Fight benefitting DC Central Kitchen - which airs virtually on the same night - will allow you to personally cheer on the talented chef in the high-stakes culinary competition. Four distinctive dishes of seasonal fare inspired by the cuisine of the Philippines – with optional beverage pairings will be offered. The dinner will reflect the best the local harvest has to offer, with courses that may include dishes like Root Vegetables, Pumpkin Ukoy [shrimp fritters] with Cane Vinegar Aioli and Cassava Cake with Honeycrisp Apples and Pecans. The four-course menu is $65 per person and the four spirited beverage pairings are $35.
