SABABA, the modern Israeli restaurant located in the heart of Cleveland Park, will showcase a festive five-course, prix fixe menu available for in-house dining, carryout and delivery this Christmas. Prepared by Executive Chef Ryan Moore, the menu offer modern Israeli cuisine drawing inspiration from the Middle East, Turkey and Greece and is priced at $50 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). SABABA will also showcase a variety of Chinese-inspired specials in addition to the full a la carte menu on Christmas Day, created by Executive Chef Ryan Moore. For the Christmas pop-up, dishes will be presented on a special menu insert that will mimic a Chinese takeout menu. The a la carte specials, include winter rolls ($12), duck dumplings ($14), lamb rangoon ($14), moo shu goat and moo shu pancakes ($26), grilled beef & broccoli ($22) kumquat "orange" chicken, ($22), sesame khug chicken ($22), as well as Buddha’s delight, a variety of ten different vegetables cooked in soy-based broth ($22). For a sweet finish, you can opt for apricot rangoon ($8). For the perfect pairing, enjoy a number of pre-selected libations including red and white wine ($10 each), Goldstar Israeli Lager ($8), or two signature cocktails, the Jin Dynasty or the Shanghai ($12 each).
