Savor A Holiday Tradition With Xiquet, Roscón de Reyes Cake

Chef Danny Lledó is excited to share a favorite Spanish tradition this year, which is the Roscón de Reyes cake. This handmade sweet brioche is filled with a delicate vanilla pastry cream and topped with colorful fruits and thin citrus slices, which subtly flavor the cake. Each has a tiny king figurine inside, and the one who finds it will enjoy good luck for the rest of the year. Xiquet will offer two ways to enjoy a Roscón as part of your feast: first, those who dine at Xiquet on January 6th will be treated to a slice of cake to conclude their tasting menu. Or, if you're planning a meal at home with friends and family, reserve your own Roscón de Reyes from the Xiquet kitchen. Each cake serves six to eight people.
