Join for this hands-on class on Zoom to improve your pasta-making prowess. In this class you will be making semolina pasta dough, typical of the Italian South. Just semolina and water ~ no fancy equipment, no rolling out thin sheets. Instead, you'll roll up your sleeves, mix and knead the dough by hand, and then shape it into cavatelli, orecchiette, busiate, and trofie. You will also learn how to make a simple sauce to go with your semolina pasta, and you’ll talk about a variety of other sauces that pair well with it in the class. You will receive the recipe as well as a list of ingredients and equipment needed a week before class. The day before, you will receive an email with a link to the class on Zoom. All classes take place on Zoom and generally run for ninety minutes to two hours. Spaces are limited to six to eight people so that everyone can receive the individual instruction necessary to master pasta-making and shaping techniques. $70 per person. 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. For more information or to register, please click here.
