Speed Rack Sets the Stage for Its 14th U.S. Season at The Howard

Speed Rack, the world’s first and only international all-women and femme bartending competition, returns for its 14th U.S. season in 2026, kicking off with the Mid-Atlantic Regionals in Washington, D.C. at The Howard. Founded by industry veterans Lynnette Marrero and Ivy Mix, the competition champions top female-identifying bartenders while donating 100% of proceeds to breast cancer education, prevention, and research—having raised more than $1.85 million to date with a goal of surpassing $2 million this season. Bartenders across the country are invited to apply online by December 15, 2025, submitting a video to compete for a spot among the top 20 selected in each region, with winners advancing through fast-paced, judged cocktail challenges toward the National Finals in July.
