Join special guests James Beard Award winner and past Iron Chef Judge Farmer Lee Jones and Chef Jamie Simpson of The Culinary Vegetable Institute at The Chef’s Garden as they celebrate the 7th annual International Sous Vide Day presented by Cuisine Solutions, the leader in sous vide, from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at The National Union Building. 

The event will honor the birthday of Dr. Bruno Goussault, Chief Scientist at Cuisine Solutions and pioneer of the modern sous vide technique and include interactive tasting stations from Brazil, Thailand, France and the United States. Chef Judge Farmer Lee Jones and Chef Jamie Simpson will present a live demo to showcase the unparalleled art of sous vide cooking. The afternoon’s menu will spotlight Pork Belly, Chicken Thigh Satay, 72-hour short ribs, Oysters with caviar, and much more. CREA will create a one-of-kind cryoconcentration Bloody Mary station. Get ready to be captivated by innovative cocktails, rich flavors, and exceptional cooking techniques that make sous vide an unforgettable culinary experience. You will leave with a bag of goodies from the Cuisine Solutions team.
