Together Festival

District IRL presents TOGETHER, a free, one-day virtual lifestyle festival. Recorded live from El Techo’s rooftop, TOGETHER celebrates the service industry professionals and local DC businesses impacted by COVID-19 and the communities around them. TOGETHER is designed to create a true community experience by bringing people together to experience local food, music, wellness, dance, and culture. Event sponsors include popular local DC businesses such as Glow Club, Vida Fitness, Bearded Goat, and Happied. TOGETHER’s lineup is a curation of virtual ‘Cinco de Mayo’ inspired experiences featuring local DC brands and artists, including a Tropical Beats Rooftop Yoga session by Vida Fitness, at-home grooming tips in “Salon Quarantine” by Bearded Goat, a Taco Tuesday Cooking Demo by El Techo’s Owner, Louie Hankins - and a Live Sundown Dance Party featuring DJ Late London, amongst other virtual events. Each experience will be scheduled for 20-60 minutes throughout the day, where attendees can tune in to watch and participate #IRL (in real life) on YouTube Live. While TOGETHER is free to attend, attendees can donate to the GoFundMe Emergency Relief Fund (100% of net proceeds will go towards the fund).
