After 44 years at the helm of fine dining, Wolfgang Puck is ushering in a new era, appointing his son Byron Lazaroff-Puck as president of Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining. The milestone will be celebrated with the “Generational Tasting Tour,” a six-country, 15-restaurant dinner series launching in Washington, D.C. at CUT by Wolfgang Puck on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Designed as a dialogue between tradition and innovation, the evening pairs Wolfgang’s classic dishes with Byron’s modern interpretations, while spotlighting each host city—including D.C.–inspired plates like fried Wolfe Ranch quail with mumbo sauce and hush puppies, alongside refined offerings such as Okinawa sweet potato pie with Osetra caviar and rockfish en croûte.
