Chef/Owner Nathan Beauchamp has officially opened his new concept, Bar Ivy, in Arlington's Clarendon neighborhood. Located one block away from the Clarendon metro station, Bar Ivy aims to combine the cool and relaxed vibe of the West Coast with a Mid-Atlantic approach to the cuisine. Bar Ivy features a laid-back atmosphere, al fresco dining, an open and airy interior, and a Kiosk that serves morning coffee and breakfast. Bar Ivy has one of the largest patios in the neighborhood, with 125 available seats on the outdoor garden plaza. Indoors, there are 75-seats available for guests, inclding a 20-seat terrazzo bar. Beauchamp, along with Executive Chef Jonathan Till, lead the kitchen at Bar Ivy, where they serve a menu heavily influenced by seafood and vegetable-forward dishes. Some menu options include Local Oysters, Brandade and Dandelion Fritters, Pea and Nettle Soup, and more. Ian Fletcher leads the beverage program at Bar Ivy, where the drinks complement the food menu with herb and produce-forward drinks.
