Chef-owner Johnny Speros has just announced his tasting menu restaurant Reverie is on quick pause, and Lonely Hunter is in full swing. Operating from the same kitchen, Lonely Hunter will at least be open for the entire month of January and is offering guests handmade pizzas. The three-options include the littleneck clam pie (with cured and confit elephant garlic, oregano, pecorino cheese, and cream sauce infused with dill oil), the potato pizza (Spanish patatas bravas, tomato sauce, sherry vinegar, and roasted bell & Jimmy Nardello peppers), and the ‘nduja pizza (spreadable sausage and semi-soft boschetto al tartufo cheese on a tomato base). Aside from pizza, diners can also order plates like beef tartare, kombu-cured scallop crudo and baby gem lettuce salad. Currently, all guests can reserve a seat on the heated patio or order for takeout and delivery.
