'Cause We're Happy! A few months ago, we got an email asking where all the Happy Hours had gone. The kind reply was that we were still knee-deep in Covid and restaurants aren't able to offer price specials just yet --- and yet, now a whole slew of Happy Hours and Cocktail Shindigs are back. All Purpose Shaw
All Purpose Shaw is now having happy hour when you join them before 6:00 p.m. or at Capitol Riverfront before 7:00 p.m. Dig into a standard cheese pizza and follow it up with beers, wine, and cocktails. 1250 9th Street NW; 202.849.6174;

All Set Happy Hour
All Set is hosting Happy Hour every Wednesday to Sunday. Guests can enjoy Oysters on the ½ Shell and cocktails like the Boston Tea Party (tea infused vodka and lemonade) or the Pretty in Pink (tequila, prosecco, lemon, cranberry and triple sec). Ambar is offering a Rakia Tasting Challenge. Ambar’s Rakia menu includes classic versions of the beverage, produced by distilling fermented plums or apricots, apples, as well as unique varietals made from cherry, pear and even honey. Rakia is a fruit brandy that is popular in Central and Southeastern Europe, with an alcohol content on average of 40 percent. Over the course of three months, guests at Ambar Capitol Hill will have the opportunity to complete a Rakia tasting, by sampling each of the 33 flavors listed on the Rakia Tasting Card, with results of each tasting documented with a stamp of confirmation. Café Riggs
Happy hour's back with the new Banker's Hour at Café Riggs. Named after the historic Riggs National Bank, the hotel's happy hour includes gougeres with mornay and veggie burger sliders, beer, wine, seasonal cocktails and the Banker's cocktail (housemade grapefruit cordial with Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & rose). 900 F Street NW; 202.788.2800;

Denizens is offering happy hour on select beers and food in Riverdale Park.  
Offerings include pints of our year-round beers (Animal Hazy IPA, Born Bohemian Pilsner, Southside IPA, and Third Party Tripel), roasted buffalo cauliflower, roasted red pepper hummus, pretzel bread, and chili fries. 1115 East-West Highway, Silver Spring, MD; 301.557.9818;

Las Gemelas
Las Gemelas is offering happy hour every day until 6:00 p.m.The highlight of the menu is their "Daily Tea Punch," which is available until it's gone. The punch is Beverage Director James Simpson's creative take on menu development, so guests can get a great deal and be part of the Gemelas menu ideation. There is also a selection of wine, beer, and additional cocktails available. Lulu’s Winegarden
Lulu’s Winegarden has launched it’s “golden hour” which is hosted Tuesday through Friday everywhere throughout the restaurant, features specials on some of Lulu’s best-selling bites (including a new limited-season hatch chile burger), wines by the glass and bottle, cocktails, craft drafts and Mexican beers. 1940 11th Street NW;

Mi Casa
The newly opened Tex-Mex hotspot in Dupont Circle, Mi Casa, hosts happy hour weekdays from 4:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy chips and salsa and tuna taquitos, and pitchers of sangria and "Ponche de mi casa". 1647 20th Street NW; 202.450.4595;

Succotash Prime
