Arena Stage's 75th Anniversary

Arena Stage will celebrate its 75th Anniversary with an exclusive evening honoring decades of artistic excellence and community impact on Wednesday, May 20. The one-night-only event will feature a special performance by Tony Award–winning actor and singer Adrienne Warren, known for her acclaimed role as Tina Turner in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical and appearances in The Woman King and Women of the Movement. The evening will also include the presentation of the Beth Newburger Schwartz Award to Tonia Wellons, President and CEO of the Greater Washington Community Foundation, recognizing her leadership in advancing economic justice and working to close the region’s racial wealth gap.
