District Creates Festival 2026

District Creates is a one-day celebration of local craftsmanship, creativity, and community, taking place on Sunday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bridge District. Hosted by the DC Makers Guild, this outdoor festival showcases the talent and innovation of Washington, DC's maker community through a curated Maker Market featuring 30 local artisans, live craft demonstrations, creative conversations, live music, food trucks, and a beer garden. Guests can also enhance their experience with hands-on Make & Take workshops, where they'll learn directly from local makers and create a project to take home. More than just a festival, District Creates supports the DC Makers Guild's mission to provide resources, programming, and opportunities for the local creative community, making every ticket purchased an investment in DC's vibrant maker culture.
