Family Fun Skate and Safari En Blanc Skating Day at Hook Hall

Hook Hall, the Parkview bar and event space, is transforming into a giant skating rink for two skating events created in conjunction with The LinkUpDC that will take over the Hall all afternoon and evening! The LinkUpDC is a DC-based organization that supports youth and community building through skating. The Family Fun afternoon session features roller skating, skate lessons, face painting, games, live music from DJ Lanlan & DJ Mari, ice cream floats and adult beverages. This session will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 per adult and $15 per kid under 18, with adult all-day passes available for $35 per ticket. This event is open to all ages. Later the same night, Hook Hall becomes Safari En Blanc, a skating party where guests are encouraged to wear all white with a dash of their favorite animal print. Special drinks will be available for purchase, and DJ Prodigy will be setting the beat all night. Tickets are available for $20 per person 21 years or older. Note that the evening event is for persons 21+ only. The Safari will commence from 8:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. Skate rentals will be offered at both sessions.
