Frames Of Fear: Addams Morgue'n
Various locations throughout Adams Morgan, DC (see addresses below)
Where do your favorite monsters shop? When the stores go dark, what creatures come to life? Join this Saturday for the 5th Annual Frames of Fear, DC in Motion’s latest community collaboration showcase in partnership with the Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District. DC in Motion is a community that strives to cater to all things motion graphics/animation in the DC area. Animators, illustrators, and motion designers were invited to create wicked windows showcasing all-things-spooky, from possessed novels flying around bookstores to zombies thrifting for fashion. Now, these visions from both local and national artists will be brought to life via looped animations projected onto the storefronts and buildings throughout Adams Morgan, DC. At sunset, projections will begin to reveal themselves on numerous storefronts, windows, and walls at the following Adams Morgan locations: 1815 Adams Mill Road NW, 1841 Columbia Road NW (Pitango Gelato & Cafe), 2201 18th Street NW (Marie Reed Elementary School Field), 2218 18th Street NW, 2222 18th Street NW (Life of Riley), 2300 18th Street NW (Picture Frame Factory) 2314 18th Street NW (Smash Records), 2421 18th Street NW (Hoffman Alley), 2424 18th Street NW (Adams Morgan Partnership BID Office), and 2452 18th Street NW (Julia's Empanadas).
