One of Washington's most storied dining rooms is going to Germany for a night!

On June 25th at 7:00 p.m., 1789 Restaurant, a long-standing Georgetown institution, will host an exclusive five-course German wine dinner led by Executive Chef Charles Kreiser. The evening pairs classic German cuisine with wines from the country's most celebrated regions, including Mosel, Rheinhessen, and Franken, in the intimate setting that has made 1789 a fixture of the DC dining scene for generations.

From white asparagus and pike perch to roasted Berkshire pork and a traditional Käsekuchen, the menu draws on German culinary tradition while staying grounded in mid-Atlantic seasonal ingredients. Each course is matched with a carefully selected wine, spanning styles and regions for guests who know German wine and those discovering it for the first time.

This exclusive dinner event costs $95.00 per person. Reservations for the experience can be made HERE.
