The Virginia Gold Cup

The Virginia Gold Cup races will celebrate its 94^th anniversary. Over the years, many traditions have become sacred to race goers and at the top of that list is the annual Tailgate Competition. Held throughout the day as notable food personalities make their rounds, the Tailgate Competition offers bragging rights to the top three tailgate spots.  Anyone who purchases a tailgate spot is eligible to participate in the Tailgate Competition and its free! Wrist bands are $25 per person. No charge for children 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. Members Hill badges are $55 each (no charge for children 12 and under on Member’s Hill).  Tickets are available at area Harris Teeter stores and discounted with a Harris Teeter VIC card.
