Chas Jefferson and Bart Hutchins have opened a new "French-Canadian Disco", Le Mont Royal, in Adams Morgan. Jefferson and Hutchins drew inspiration for this new concept from Montreal and Paris, and they aim to create a communal, convival experience. The bar specializes in juicy and vibrant wines, grower champagnes, and playful cocktails. Hutchins leads the food program, which features French bistro classics, put through "an LSD filter". There are bars on both of the floors of this 4,000 square-foot space, as well as lounge seating, pool tables, large group tables, and a full-service patio seating 44 people. Le Mont Royal is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until Midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.; For more information, visit their website here.
