Panama's specialty coffee company, Cafè Unido, is opening a roastery and retail shop in D.C., also making it the United State's headquarters. The Roastery will complement the Cafè Unido shop inside the Latin market, La Cosecha. Cafè Unido exclusively serves beans from Panama, including the geisha variety. The Roastery, which is located in the space formerly home to Dolcezza, will feature a 12-seat cupping system and have garage doors open all year that open to picnic tables for guests to sit at.
