An alcohol-free bar is coming to D.C. early next year. Binge Bar will open below Waxing The City and feature poetry readings, karaoke nights, and speed dating. Owner Vergie Arandid wanted to open to open a spot in the city that matched her lifestyle choice, after she stopped drinking alcohol. Binge Bar will serve a variety of drinks like juices and non-alcoholic beers, as well as small bites. This new establishment can hold up to 50 people and will not have a full kitchen, as it is meant to be a casual hangout spot.
