Chef James Wozniuk, known for his previous work at Maketto and Spoken English, has launched Makan in the downstairs space above the Thirsty Cow. Focusing on Southeast Asian cuisine, the menu is split up into two sections: 'Starters' and 'Nasi Campur' (which translates to 'with rice'). For starters, guests are able to enjoy dishes like Roti Jala, thin crepes dipped in vegan curry or the pickles starter dish which features a tart lime pickle with spices and diced veggies. In terms of the 'Nasi Campur' section, Makan offers plates like Beef Rendang and Pajeri Nenas (pineapple curry).
