Takoma Beverage Company Owner, Chris Brown, has officially opened his new concept, Zinnia, in the space formerly home to Mrs. K's Toll House in Silver Spring. At Zinnia, patrons can enjoy a beer and the wine garden, cafè, tavern, and fine dining restaurant. First open is the beer and wine garden, opened in October. Guests can enjoy options from a beer truck and an outdoor bar that will dispense a variety of local beers, wines, cocktails, and ciders. Classic beer garden options are also available to eat. Then, the all day cafè is expected to open later on in the Fall. The cafè is expected to serve sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and more. There is no official opening date for the restaurant portion of this concept, but guests can get excited for some twists on some of Mrs. K's favorites, while enjoying a modern atmosphere.
